Our Vision and Calling

At Getare Oasis, we hold fast to a simple yet powerful vision:

PROCLAIM the Good News of salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ through every means available to every ear that will hear.
BUILD faith in believers through teaching and preaching of the Word of God by every form of communication.
ENCOURAGE the body of Christ to live in peace and to overcome all the problems of this world by faith in the Word of God.
PROMOTE love, harmony and unity of the Spirit through signs, wonders, miracles and demonstrations of the Holy Spirit within the body of Christ.

Loving Orphans with the Love of Christ

One of the hallmarks of our church is our orphanage ministry, where we provide shelter, nourishment, education, and spiritual formation for children who have lost their parents. We believe that every child bears the image of God and deserves opportunity—no matter their past or current circumstances.

Our guiding care principles are rooted in the conviction that these remarkable young ones ought to be nurtured holistically:

  • Education: Every child is enrolled in local schools, with supplemental support through tutoring and mentorship.
  • Health & Well-being: From balanced meals to routine medical check-ups, we prioritize the physical health of each child.
  • Spiritual Formation: Daily devotions, Bible study, and prayer form the spiritual framework through which they grow in relationship with Christ.

My prayer is that each one of these children will not only find a home but also a future—equipped to know Jesus, serve others, and walk confidently in their God-given identity.

Worship, Teaching & Spiritual Growth

Our Sunday gatherings reflect our core belief: Christ-centered worship uplifts our spirits, unites us as believers, and sends us out equipped for discipleship. We dedicate time to:

  1. Worship – Heartfelt singing that honors the Lord with all we are.
  2. Prayer – Lifting petitions before God and listening for His voice.
  3. Teaching – Honest, biblical sermons that challenge, comfort, and catalyze life transformation.

Each message flows from Scripture, revealed through prayerful preparation, and connected to real-life challenges. My hope is that every sermon both feeds the soul and sparks action—moving believers deeper into discipleship while reaching out in compassion.

Beyond that, we offer ongoing spiritual development through small groups, Bible studies, and discipleship initiatives. Whether someone is exploring faith, leading a family, or preparing for ministry, we walk alongside them as they grow.

Invitation to Partnership

My wife and I view spiritual leadership not merely as a title but as a relational calling. We don’t see ourselves above the flock but alongside it, encouraging growth, facilitating community, and modeling Christ’s sacrificial love.

We invite you to join us—whether you’ve been part of the Church your whole life, are exploring faith, or are seeking a community that nurtures both spirit and action. Here are some ways you can get involved:

  • Worship Sunday together — experience powerful truth-telling, prayer, and community.
  • Serve in ministries like the orphanage, or local outreach events.
  • Grow with small groups — where relationships deepen, and transformation happens.
  • Partner financially or prayerfully — generosity and prayer are the bedrock of spiritual growth and community impact.

Together, we can multiply the impact of God’s love in our region and around the world.

My Personal Journey

From a young age, I sensed a deep stirring in my spirit toward pastoral care and biblical truth. Early training in ministry opened my eyes to the transformative power of the Gospel when lived out beyond the pulpit.

Over the years, I’ve seen lives renewed:

  • Through the adoption of Christ into the heart of a child who once felt invisible.
  • Through restored marriages, healed wounds, and broken lives made whole.

I am grateful that God has called me to shepherd this congregation—where worship, discipleship, and service overlap in powerful synergy.
